If you live in certain areas where veganism is more prominent, then you’ll probably have more access to vegan-friendly restraints. Whereas if you live somewhere where it’s more meat inclined, not so much. In these cases, your supermarkets will probably also have a harder time having good vegan options as well which can be a pain.

If you do manage to find a vegan option at a fast food restraint, you still need to remember your golden rule. Check the ingredients and know the calorie information as well as your micros and macros. Just because it is a vegan option doesn’t mean that its ketogenic as well. You need to make sure that whatever you're going, go for the healthy option. Remember there are foods on this diet that you can eat but they're not healthy for your goals.

Most ketogenic also make what is called a fat bomb. This is a very popular trend in the Keto world, but it may not be the safest one. The ‘fat bombs’ are usually high in fat, of course, with a moderate amount of either artificial or natural sweetness. Keto dieters usually refer to fat bombs as a treat, snack, or dessert. Some use it before a workout. Some use it as a fat dense snack or a way to curb their sweet tooth. With the Keto diet, you’re trying to cut sugar and carbs. You're trying to eat cleaner. These fat bombs are usually ninety percent fat or even more. The fat from these bombs commonly comes from coconut milk or from dairy. While most use it as a snack or dessert, some actually use it for a meal replacement. There is so much fat in these bombs that the calories for a single one can be anywhere from two hundred and fifty calories to five hundred calories. We know that Keto dieters strive for higher fat but depending on your calorie intake for the day, you're using a big chunk of your calories for a small little goodie.

The goal of the Keto diet is to achieve ketosis. When you reach for snacks like you would with a fat bomb, it could mean you’re not in a state of ketosis any longer. Meaning, fat bombs are basically promoting snacking unnecessarily. Boiled eggs are a better way to respond to hunger. Your body needs to take its own time on this diet and there is no quick fix. If you suddenly begin to consume large amounts of fat, that’s not going to make you adjust quicker.

The Keto diet’s success is the result of hormones; one hormone in specific as a matter of fact. It’s called leptin. Leptin reacting to a lack of blood sugar in your body results in your body using stored fat for energy. The fat that is consumed for the energy would be used before the stored fat. This means that the benefits of fat bombs are diminished in terms of fat loss. This is because while you could be maintaining ketosis, you’re fueling your ketones with the wrong thing.
